Lotr_Silm: Precedents

Here's something I've been mulling over for a little while. I love Gimli and Legolas' relationship and the importance of their mutual understanding, but I haven't been able to forget the fact that elves have been associating with the dwarves long before those two. Now granted, theirs is a special case, because of the long history of animosity between the Sindar and the dwarves, but I'm very fond of the other elf-dwarf relationships that came before so I wanted to combine them all.

First we have Maedhros and Azaghâl, after Maedhros has saved him and the dwarf-lord is paying him back with the Dragon-helm of Dor-Lomin
Azaghâl is like: How's he even breathe all the way up there? and Nelya is just like: oh great, a hideous dwarf-helmet. It clashes with everything I own! Def gonna throw it at Kano next time I see him!
why didn't you keep it when Maedhros gave it to you Fingon, why, baby, whyyyy!?!?T.T

Next there's Celebrimbor and Narvi, the greatest architect-pair ever. I love those two because I can just imagine how geeky they must have been about their various projects, bickering and having great fun trying to figure out the details of Morias gate etc.
Here Narvi has gotten a great idea and Tyelpe is condescendingly amused (in true Noldor-fashion)

And last but not least, our dear Legolas and Gimli! Legolas is being lazy and Gimli has his own opinions about spoiled elven princelings
