celebration- marauders era

more Harry Potter art, this time from the marauders era, which contain some of my favorite chars

It happened like this:
One afternoon in the gryffindor common-room, Lily Evans decided to get back on the prankster of all pranksters: James Potter.
due to his frequent asking her out and his near stalker tendencies, she'd realized that he fancied her and she'd decided that she liked him too, but she wasn't about to just admit that.
sitting comfortably in her red chair, she turned towards the group of boys calling themself the marauders and shouted "oy, Potter! get overhere!" James heard her and turned his head, looking decidedly frightened, wondering what he could've done to upset her this time. deciding it would be better to do as the redhead said, he rose and walked to her. his friends looked on from the sideline.
when he reached her, Lily told him to take off his glasses and looking over at his friends he did so, kneeling at the same time. Lily sniggered and just as James steeled himsellf for the jinx sure to come his way, she leaned over the side of the chair and kissed him, the cheers of the other three marauders in her ears.

*slight spoiler for DH in this part*

after the chapter 'the prince's tale' in DH and a certain guy's obsession with Lily, I wanted to clarify something: James and Lily belong together!...sorry, I'm aware that Jo never sujested otherwise, but the chapter just bothered me, silly, I know
